Camping in Connecticut, Aug. 13-15, 2010

The theme of the PV8 August campout was "Peace Love and Camping: Drifting back to the 60's and 70's"  Unfortunately I overslept and missed the tie dye t-shirt activity. Oh well. But Frank and I went on a nice side-trip to Gillette Castle State Park in East Haddam and Lyme Connecticut. Here are some pictures:











This is a rug in one of the guest bedrooms. Gillette was a cat person and owned up to 18 cats at one time in this house.

The third level has recently been renovated and air-conditioned so that some of Gillette's art collection can be displayed.
